PayWeb360 v.1.14 is now available in production.  The purpose of this release is to introduce 2 new features (Payment Links, Additional Balances), 2 enhancements (Cash Payment Limits, Payment Notifications), 1 new configuration option (Customer Contact Info) and 1 fix (Allow Furture-date Payment).

Payment Links

Payment Links is a new feature that enables customers to login to PayWeb360 by clicking on a link within a payment reminder or past due alert.

How it works

  1. Customer opts in to receive payment notifications via text or email
  2. Customer receives a payment reminder or past due alert notification
  3. Customer clicks a link within the notification
  4. PayWeb360 checks the expiration date time
  5. If the link has not expired, PayWeb360 automatically logs the customer in

Additional Balances

Additional Balances is a new feature that presents up to 4 additional balance types within the Account Detail screen (Past Due Balance, Late Fee Balance, NSF Fee Balance, and Additional Charges Balance) and incorporates them within the default payment amount including a breakdown.

Here’s what the Account Detail screen looks like when there are Additional Balances on the account.

Payment Notifications

Payment Notifications is an existing feature that enables customers to opt in to receive payment reminders, alerts and confirmation via text and/or email.

Here is what’s changing as part of this release:

Email Call-to-action

BEFORE

Prior to this release, when a customer clicked on the Email Call-to-action, in cases where an email address was not already on file, they were taken to the Edit Contact Information screen to add an email address.

AFTER

Now, as part of this release, when a customer clicks on the Email Call-to-action, in cases where an email address is not already on file, they will be taken to an Email Registration screen with a configurable disclosure similar to the SMS Call-to-action.

Email Opt-in Panel

BEFORE

Prior to this release, to change the email address associated with Payment Notifications a customer would click the Modify Contact Information button.

AFTER

Now, as part of this release, the Email Opt-in panel will include the email address on file with a link to change it.

SMS Opt-in Panel

BEFORE

Prior to this release, the SMS Opt-in panel included an information icon that would launch the Phone Registration screen when clicked.

The Phone Registration screen presented the phone number on file and allowed the customer to edit it.

AFTER

Now, as part of this release, the SMS Opt-in panel will include the phone number on file and the link to change it will be more descriptive.

Customer Contact Information

Customer Contact Information is an existing feature that enables customers to view and update their contact information.

Before

Prior to this release customers were able to update their contact information as needed.

After

Now, as part of this release, the ability to update contact information can be disabled.

Note: Disabling the ability to update contact information will not disable a customer’s ability to change the email address or phone number associated with Payment Notifications.

Allow Future Date Payments

Payweb360 has an existing configuration option (allowFurtureDatePaymentIfFutureDatePayment) that prevents a new future-dated payment (one time recurring) from being scheduled if one already exists.  This configuration option was not being enforced and that has been fixed as part of this release.
